Current Research
Currently, my research is mainly focused on the analysis of biomedical image data, mainly 2D microscopy images. In addition, I am supervising work in the field of mobile systems dealing with vision-based navigation and person interaction.
Another focus of my current work is given by a software architecture for simplifying development of image analysis algorithms and at the same time providing handy interfaces for users without additional effort for any of the two parties.
