From Magdeburg A14 - exit Trotha and coming from Harz (over the B6/E49 , quarter Trotha):

Magdeburger Chaussee  ---  Trothaer Straße  ---  right in the Seebener Straße (signpost: Halle-Neustadt, B80)  ---  Kröllwitzer Straße (Giebichensteinbrücke)  ---  right in the Talstraße and once more right - along the river Saale  ---  Ernst-Grube-Straße (passing the Klinikum Kröllwitz)  ---  left in the Heideallee  ---  after a few hundret metres you will find the entrance to the university ground (formers barrack-yard)  ---  across the Von-Seckendorff-Platz...  --- the building of the institute of computer science ist on the left

Coming from Wernigerode / Klostermansfeld (Harz) - (quarter Dölau):

Coming from Berlin A9 - on the B100, to Leipzig A14 - exit Peißen, motorway B100 (quarter Frohe Zukunft):

Coming from Merseburg:

Merseburger Straße to Riebeckplatz  ---  line Eisleben (traffic circle)  ---  Magistrale (line Halle-Neustadt)  ---  next exit right (line Kröllwitz - Heide)  --- to Gimmritzer Damm  ---  pass the traffic-light and drive along the Heideallee  ---  somes metres turn left and  drive the street along ---  right is the entrance to the university ground (formers barrack-yard)  ---  across the Von-Seckendorff-Platz...   --- the building of the institute of computer science is on the left

Coming from railway station Halle (Saale) Hbf:

Leave the central station by the main exit (DR-Reise-Zentrum, direction north). Take the tram no. 4 in direction "Kröllwitz".
The tram arrives circa 15 minutes later at "Straßburger Weg". [Alternatively, you may take tram no. 5 in direction "Kröllwitz" (25 min).] Please cross the tramrail and the street. Enter the university campus at Von-Seckendorff-Platz.On the left side you can see the building of computer science.
